Thank You For Being My Groomsman Cigar Gift (And free printable)

Coming up with ideas for a groomsman gift can be difficult. We thought and thought when we were deciding what to get Pete's groomsmen. We ended up getting them personalized stainless steel travel mugs and a Starbucks gift card (since they were all traveling for our wedding, it was perfect).

But what about you? What will you give?

Pete and his friend came home one day with cigars for them to smoke and before they did, I stopped them. Please let me borrow them for a post, I said. See, I had just seen a cute cigar card designed by marrygrams and wanted to replicate it.

I actually designed a really cute printable for this. I went to print it, and my printer ran out of ink. Absolutely nothing would print, not even one letter. So I had to compromise and write the cards by hand. Not exactly what I had in mind.

If you would rather print these, I have a free printable at the bottom of this post. Your process will be a little simpler too, so I would go that route if I was you.

Thank You For Being My Groomsman Cigar Gift

What You'll Need:

Cigars

Paper trimmer

Cardstock (one 8.5x11 sized sheet per three cigars)

Tape

Felt pen (or printable below)

What You'll Do:

Cut the cardstock into three 3.5 inch strips. You will have a half inch left over. That's okay.

Write "Thank you for being my groomsman" or "Thank you for being my best man" on the bottom of the cardstock strip.

Put a piece of tape in the middle of the blank space.

Affix the cigar to the tape. That's all.

If you want to make it easier, you can use my printable above. Just right click and save it to your desktop. Then, print it out on colored card stock. Use your paper trimmer to cut it into thirds (and to cut off my web address), tape the cigar down, and you're done.

If you want to give them something to go with it, you could always pick up a cigar cutter and cigar humidor with a glass top. You could actually lay this card inside the humidor, and, since it has a glass top, the groomsmen would be able to see it. It's a perfect gift idea and won't break the bank.
